SUOXIN Charity Fund
“Fortune favors the prepared, but misfortunes can befall anyone unexpectedly.“
To assist employees of the company and their immediate family members who are from impoverished backgrounds or have suffered from severe illnesses or accidents, to uphold the humanitarian spirit, to promote the traditional virtue of benevolence and generosity, and to strengthen the cohesion of the corporate team and employees' sense of belonging, SUOXIN has established the "Charity Fund". It aims to provide assistance to vulnerable groups within its capacity, allowing our love and kindness to spread from SUOXIN to the whole world.
The SUOXIN Charity Fund mainly consists of allocations from the company’s current-year net profit, voluntary donations from employees, and funds raised through other charity fund activities. The fund is available to all employees who have served SUOXIN for more than two years and their immediate family members. In the event of severe illness or injury, accidental incidents or other unavoidable emergencies, if the family faces extreme financial hardship and the required expenses exceed the family’s affordability, SUOXIN will provide grants or interest-free loans.
Student Sponsorship Program of the Hope Project
The Hope Project is a public welfare initiative launched and implemented by the China Youth Development Foundation in 1989. Its two core philanthropic programs are the construction of Hope Primary Schools and the sponsorship of students from impoverished families.
On May 20, 2007, the China Youth Development Foundation announced a full-scale upgrade of the Hope Project, expanding its student support model from a "relief-oriented" one to an "integrated relief-and-development" model. To meet the needs of the beneficiaries, the student sponsorship program continues to mobilize social resources to provide grants for students from financially disadvantaged families, helping them realize their dream of attending school.
Meanwhile, it places greater emphasis on enhancing the self-development capabilities of impoverished students. Adhering to the philosophy of "teaching someone to fish rather than just giving them a fish", the program provides sustained support in both material and spiritual dimensions, enabling the aided students to learn to support themselves and help others in return.
